The only thing that went right during the blizzard was dealing with The Hartford and claims processor, Connie. I had no power for 6 days and after 3 days I had to move into a friend's vacant house and put my golden retriever in the kennel. Their rates are very good, and when it comes to having a claim, they are right on top of it. Most insurance companies are there when it comes to collecting, but drag their feet forever when it comes to a claim. Not The Hartford.
