If you’re the primary operator of the vehicle and have completed an approved defensive driver course, such as the AARP Driver Safety Program, you're eligible for a discount on your auto insurance for the next three full years. Just mail us a copy of your certificate, and we will apply the credit. Who knew it was so easy to save on affordable car insurance?

(The Defensive Driver discount name may vary by state. For example, in some states, such as New York, the course is called the Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention Course discount. In other states it may be called the Accident Prevention or Motor Vehicle Improvement Course discount. In Kentucky, this credit applies for five years.)Sure, you’ve been driving for a long time…but that doesn’t mean the same is true of everyone in your household. If you have a driver on your policy that is under 21, you can still get affordable auto insurance by having that driver successfully complete an approved driver training course.
